Amazon's Kindle is well marketed!

Well, word is out, Oprah Winfrey endorses Amazon's Kindle gadget!

What is it? an e-reader that allows you to read books online, more details at:

Amazon's review of their product:

Is it the best out there? Not sure....

I'd personally rather check its configuration with other competitors, like Sony's Reader or even iPhone. I guess it all gets down to what your needs are. While Amazon pays for the internet connectivity (Sprint network) in US -not sure how it works in Canada though-, you still have to pay for the books you want to read, the difference is that they get downloaded as e-books to your 'Kindle'.

Why now? hmmm, don't know, but its out there (big time) and thought to share it with you. I find it quite amazing, all these gadgets that are out there!

The funny thing is that its not new, the Kindle was available in USA since November 2007, and reviews indicate people using similar gadgets since 1996 (different product, same idea).
